Computer and Communications Security Review
Keywords: computer communications, reviews
Abstract: `Computer and Communications Security Reviews'
provides abstracts of all current research in the field - or at
least all that I manage to get hold of! Coverage includes some
30-40 conferences a year and over 100 journals. These files
contain the back numbers of volumes 1 and 2, and volume 3 number
1. As we now have no paper copies left of volume 1, and
relatively few of volume 2, the publisher has decided to make the
postscript available at no charge.

Abstract: This directory is a repository of primary and
secondary source documents on the executive branch's wiretap
chips. A primary source is the words of people and organizations
themselves: press releases, answers to questions, testimony.
Secondary sources are people talking about primary sources; most
of it here is journalism, but historical writings are always
secondary sources as well. Secondary sources are often easier to
read at the cost of distortion and bias. Primary sources are
where the action is, it's where the facts are.
Scott Davis, The Journal
of American Underground Computing
Abstract: "The underground press serves as the only
effective counter to a growing power, and more sophisticated
techniques used by establishment mass media to falsify,
misrepresent, misquote, rule out of consideration as a priori
ridiculous, or simply ignore and blot out of existence: data,
books, discoveries that they consider prejudicial to
establishment interest..."
