Abstract
We point out and demonstrate that the VMG-KLJN key exchanger is not as secure as the classical KLJN system. Vulnerabilities in the VMG-KLJN scheme arise due to using four arbitrary resistors while not accounting for the impact of practical line capacitance and inductance. We also show some defense methods.
