Module 1, Information Security Management
Concepts, provides an overview of information assurance and
security concepts, principles, and goals. Topics are divided into three
main lessons, the first of which is available in this demonstration
copy:
Lesson 1: Assets. In this lesson, learners
will explore the foundational ideas behind information assurance and
security.
Lesson 2: Concepts & Terms. (Not
available in demonstration copy) In this lesson, learners define and
explore the major information security terms and concepts necessary
to establish an understanding of the practice.
Lesson 3: Goals. (Not available in
demonstration copy) In this lesson, learners examine the major goals
of information assurance and security and put them into the context
of the profession.
Navigating
the Module
As you can see, the menu frame at the top of the page contains links
to the major sections of each lesson. While this means that you can
preview and review each lesson, the objectives, and the quiz, we recommend
that you follow the sequence of the module by using the "previous"
and "next" links at the bottom of each page. Be sure to listen
